The third basic training course of the training program series implemented for the year 2025, under the financial support of the Provincial Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries and with the resource contribution of the National Aquaculture Development Authority, was held very successfully at the Rambadagalle Ornamental Fish Breeding Training Center of the National Aquaculture Development Authority on 21, 22 and 23.10.2025, with the participation of novice ornamental fish farmers from the Divisional Secretariat Divisions of Nachchaduwa, Thalawa, Thambuttegama, Nochchiyagama, Ipalogama and Kekirawa in the Anuradhapura District.

Here, in addition to providing theoretical and practical knowledge of the basic knowledge of the ornamental fish industry, the relevant lecturers also personally provided the growers who participated in the course with the necessary advice and guidance on quick action to be taken to address the problems they face in the cultivation area.

At the end of the course, the opportunity was also given to purchase quality ornamental fish fry, aquatic plants, live fish food and planting media cultivated by the institute.
